There is no more 'CD keys' for Ubisoft games you buy from Steam store. If you already have a UPlay account linked to Steam then the game will be activated automatically.

still need cd key activation after... this is starting to get on my nerves getting close to a week without ubisoft support answer, pretty sure they abbandonned this game since its oldish

I have the game on steam but it won't activate in Uplay. I hit play in steam and it just tells me to enter a cd key? What do I do?

Have a same problem. Uplay message: "Activate a key. Clicking OK bing the game to your Ubisoft account, letting you access it from your Games list on any PC." Clicking "Continue" and Uplay returns

's a thing with even Steam versions of the game asking for a non-existant CD key though.

You can copy the CD-Key from Steam into UPlay. I am sorry I don't know how to tell you how this is done. As my Tech Savvy son did it for me.
