Could not synchronize to online contacts.

Friend wanted to play some breakpoint and I had reinstalled it today. I got Uplay up and got in before getting the error. I couldn't join their game nor could they join mine.

I have tested several different troubleshoots including:
turning internet on and off
Reinstalling the Uplay Launcher
Unsyncing and Resyncing my game
Shutting the game on and off as well as Computer
Joining a Public game.

My friend can invite me and they invite me. However, if I hover over Breakpoint and try to accept the invite (from the Uplay Overlay) it says that I must first close other games before joining even when It's the only game I have up. Please Help.

I am not using mods and I have the security up with an exemption. Forgot to mention that one but thanks for mentioning it.

Don't quite understand this point, I can see my friends and send the invite but they can't accept is the issue.

So something I have noticed as well is that when I try access the Challenge page, it says I'm not connected to Ubisoft servers. Though I can still go into the Premium story. I dunno this just seems very strange.

Well it was more the case that I'd think I couldn't access the in game store if it still read me as not being on Ubisoft servers for things like challenges or invites.

I sadly don't remember, I think it was the issue of my internet causing it at the time. I am sorry.
