Still possible to JOIN a Task Force?

I know Ubi disabled creation of TFs but is it possible to still join an existing one? And if so, does anyone have an opening for me? I just got back into the game and want to be able to complete the TF daily challenge. TIA.

New ones cannot be created, but the one I am in just had a few join last week. Only the Leader can accept a join request. That is also how I joined earlier this year.

While you can still match with members of an existing Taskforce in the lobby, you will no longer be able to create or join Taskforces.

Well there ya go bud. You can either believe the guy who posted a link from the company that actually pays for the servers and manages the services for which you inquired about that confirms that you can no longer join a TF.

OR...... You can believe some random strangers who's info is sketchy at best, provide no proofs, offer nothing but "trust me bro" and who may or may not simply be trolling for lack of any real factual answers.

I'll even do you one better in fact. Just google "joining Wildlands TF's" and you'll get 100's of pages all saying basically the same thing, that you can no longer join and that that ship has long since sailed. And that the reason being is that Ubi wanted to move those resources to their newer releases to support those sales.

Ninjaneer, ᑕYᗷEᖇᑕᗩT is right. We have tried this not so long ago and literally no option to do anything task force related in the game any more. I wonder if it's still possible on consoles though as I now they still able to play Ghost War and Mercenaries modes while we PC gamers aren't. I'll explore this when time allows and report back.

If you find a player who is already in a Task Force, you can look at their stats page in-game. You need to play with them at least once so they show up on the lists. On the left there will be an option to send a join request. If the Leader of the Task Force is active in the game still, he has the option to accept join requests. Only the Task Force Leader can do this, no one else. Otherwise there is no way to join one. The website with the Task Force related things is not active (thus you cannot create a new one). Joining one is all done within the game. Maybe it does not work now but it worked for me back in June. Many people told me it did not work then as well so you may as well try.

OK Kura. We will try this. I'll ask ᑕYᗷEᖇᑕᗩT to join a game with me and then see what happens. The TF I'm in was created by me so I'm the leader. I'll post back with the results.

Hello, I can confirm that this is working. If you are a Task Force creator the invite option is there but only if invites are allowed by the player in squad privacy. Also you need to be friends in Ubisoft Connect.
