2. Don't use the Ultra preset at first, try very high or, high and see if the situation improves.
3. Try to cap the game @60 fps and try the consistency. Note the average fps.
4. Try to remove the friggin overlay. See if it improves, maybe you can enable it letter.
5. Just go to a less dense area and see if it improves.
But honestly, even when I lose connection in single player, the game doesn't care. I don't think the launcher ever gave me performance troubles.
But hey, it's worth a try.
I'm not running full ultra, but dropped a few things a notch lower. From the top of my head I disabled the turf effects and set the shadows to medium. I think the rest is set to it's highest, but if the OP wants, I can post all my settings later.
If it's UbiConnect, wouldn't that imply you should not have frame drops if offline?
Maybe Wildlands doesn't like newer architecture? I dunno.
All I can say is I've never seen any problems with the launcher and Wildlands, online or offline... performance has always been good for me. Even when I lose connection mid game (single player), over here the game doesn't care.
"True Offline" and "Offline mode" are completely different. Ubiconnect latches itself with the game, you won't be able to start the game without that authentication. So, yeah I have my reasons to suspect that thing. And AC Odyssey and Wildlands both are implemented on Anvil2. Even though the tactical features and population engagement are entirely different, I get much much less problem in any other Ubisoft game. Now this was the reason I thought previously that probably there's something wrong with the game.
Yea, I believe something like this is happening, but isn't that an issue related to this game, given other games on my system run absolutely fine.
Yes, I use in offline mode,
But the thing is for the initial 30-40 min its absolutely fine, then all of a sudden it drops.
I have read Wildlands gives problems with newer systems. Maybe that's what's going on?
I doubt it's a game issue. If it had to do with RAM leaks or bad coding, everyone would run into these problems.
I still play this on my old system. Windows 10, i5 7600K, GTX1080, 32GB 3000Mhz, SSD.
Nothing special nowadays, but Wildlands runs great on it.
What system (specs) are you using?
Only thing you could try is to drop every setting to it's lowest and see if that makes a difference. If so, work your way up through the settings from there.
Yes, I got it this year only, i5 13450 HX, RTX 3050 6GB, 16GB RAM , Windows 11.
Never had any issue with other games except this one.
I tried dropping the settings, it has no effect. I could run it at high preset for 40 min, or medium preset or low, it still drops after 40 min, then it will fluctuate bw 60-40 fps.
I don't see any fix for now, but anyways thanks for the suggestions.👍
