probably Ubisoft Connect, it got some patch two days ago, what caused connectivity problems. Then another follow up patch was rolled out yesterday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those patches can't cause anything at all, because the only thing they update is UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe in the game folder. So they don't even update Ubisoft Connect launcher on your PC you're using to launch the game.
