If you see the positive side of the platform, for me they are,
Character design :
1. Simon Riley.
2. Makarov.
Story :
The main reason. If you like story games, you'll like it very much. WW3 plot. And mysterious moments with Ghost(Simon Riley) until he dies(which might not be the case this time).
Graphics :
PC burning.
Gameplay :
COD has implemented a weapon response system that feels smoother than other games. It might be because of its simple behavior, lower recoil degrees of freedom, mobility etc.
Multiplayer :
Many people try COD because of this. But imao, for me it'll be forever CS 1.6. Cuz you don't get the force on your side if you play COD. -- "The force will be with ya, always".
I like the above traits but I don't like denuvo-operated applications(at least some of its properties). I bought Wildlands/Breakpoint anyway cuz they weren't gonna take it out of the game.
Some other suggestions that'll give you the ambiance as well as hardcore tactical gameplay(within limits). Truthfully you'll never find anything like Wildlands.
1. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1 and 2(fps).
2. Breakpoint(tps).
3. Arma(simulation based).
Thnx again
I certainly don't intend to be confrontational at all, but your input/rant here serves no purpose as an intended answer to my original question which, simply put is, is there anything that compares in gaming experience to Wildlands into which I have invested several hours and have mentioned so above if not only to highlight that perhaps it may be time to pursue a new game in a similar vein and thus reached out to the community for some reasonable, rant less answers. And no I'm not asking about Breakpoint as I'm already about a 100 hours in
It is a bit more fast paced and there is little to no stealth but the gameplay and controls are second to none. If you are used to playing wildlands the learning curve for the controls is almost nonexistant as they share most of the same button mapping. I play w a dualsense controller/steam deck with gyro aiming if that matters at all.
Thnx again
Lol no worries. It's really a great game. Large community for coop and are genuinly helpful.
And thnx to you other guys who chipped in too
Yeah this'll def give you a firm impression of the game. Save carries over if you end up buying it too.
It goes on sale all the time so pick it up cheap when you can.
