Can u play with friend when u play on steam and ur friend play on PC but he using Xbox gamepass?

So recently my friend invited me to play wildland together but as he say he play on PC but he using Xbox gamepass, I'm just afraid it can't play together like in my case before in monster hunter

never tried but whats the worse case, you download and lose hours? i want to say no but i switched to PC like 5 years ago during the Xbox One days. if you're both on PC maybe..... There's no guarantee.

If it's proper PC version, just downloaded and installed through Microsoft store, it should use Ubisoft Connect launcher and the same PC servers for coop. So it should work like any other PC version. You can't even call it crossplay, because it's the same PC platform anyway.

It should use Ubisoft launcher, no matter where the PC version is downloaded from (steam, xbgp) since ubi loves their launcher lol.

I might be try this, I just uninstall yesterday cause idk I don't like wasteland the optimization on my laptop it's very bad tbh, I play on medium - low and just goes straight 40-55 fps but in breakpoint even I play on medium - high I still got 55 - 70 fps, idk what's wrong with my laptop I just do maintenance last week

Nothing is wrong with your laptop. It's just Wildlands is using DX11, while Breakpoint is using DX11 and Vulkan. You probably launch Breakpoint via Vulkan, which is way faster, because it was designed to get rid of DX11 performance issues/overheads, the similar principles were later used in DX12, which is also faster than DX11.

idk can it be dx11 on Wildlands it's have a lot of issues? I play r6 with dx11 it's way more fast and get more fps and after the new update which remove dx11 launch option and change to dx12 my game cant get 120+ fps and always drop to 70 fps and sometimes it will drop to 50 fps so I decided to lock my fps on 60 fps, it's like I play this game with no dgpu bruh
