Narco road DLC = terrible and has nothing to do with the game.
Fallen Ghosts is cool and you might want to pick that up for $4 when you like the game. Both DLC are separate from the main campaign.
So season pass one is off the table.
Season pass 2 has got some loot crates. Only cool thing in that pass are the Echelon gloves which will give you nicer looking (knife) CQC moves. But it's completely unnecessary. You decide if that's worth 9.99 on sale. (Not gonna lie... I bought it for the gloves)
The base game gives you all you need. Nothing you need is locked behind a paywall, and it will keep you busy for a long time. After that, maybe buy Fallen Ghosts.
Time savers is you paying to not play the game. Sh!tification grind in Ghost Recon is non existent. It's just a normal game with normal progression. No need for boosters or savers.
Even the loot crates are free, but those are grindy as hell. Just don't pay attention to them. There's nothing in there you need although some things do look cool. It's all cosmetics and guns with bad skins that you can't alter in the weapon smith.
In the end game (and when you know what to do) it can be fun to gather some free crates.
The base game itself comes with more than enough stuff which you unlock during the campaign.
If you don't feel like you are in for the long haul, then base game will give you plenty to do.
Everything you need is on the map, and you can earn "points' to get other stuff that is mostly cosmetic.
Fallen Ghost and a couple of extra missions that come with the extra packages don't really add much to the base game, you can always pick them up later as sales are often now.
I picked up all the extras after playing the base game for 3 years, doing the daily challenges with give you plenty to do, and seeing how far you can get in "Ghost Mode", both of which will give you lots of "points" to get extra items that are not on the map. (but you don't need them)
BTW the extra missions only amount to a few extra hours of game play (when you know what you are doing)
