How to Zoom Out From Your Character:

While all your weapons are holstered, press whatever key you have bound to switching from 3rd person to 1st person while aiming your gun and the camera will pan out and away from your character giving you a more 'cinematic' angle for viewing your character. Equipping a gun while the camera effect is enabled will not default the zoom level of your 3rd person camera. This zoom will remain until you press the button again to bring it back to it's default level.

There is an extended field of view slider in the video options.
That's the only possibility.

You can extend your FOV in the settings, but there is a way to increase the FOV in-game while your guns are holstered.

On PS4, it's not the first person aim button, it's the button used to switch shoulders- R1 for me.
