Seems Strict NAT is still a huge issue for Wildlands
This has been a thorn in the side for coop since 2017, hoping Ubisoft would have fixed this problem but completely ignored it and this is why people have so many problems with multiplayer, I got a new provider (comcast) since I last played, and now whatever I do its strict no matter what ports are forwarded, even if I enable DMZ lol

I think at this point, having a VPN is probably one of the few potential ways around this problem, even breakpoint has similar issues.

The reason is often UbisoftConnect, as Wildlands is not only using standard ports. :doombolt:
Even many Help-pages don´t list all required ports. Check chapter ->"Ports" ... and ideally prevent MicrosoftDefender from interacting with Steam + UBIsoft folders

I fixed my problem only because I have fairly good networking knowledge, but some of your average users probably don't even know what NAT is, let alone how to make it open. Sadly, even matchmaking the game seems kinder barren now that I decided to create a new character and replay the game.

Yep and Ubisoft gives zero ♥♥♥♥♥ ... all they have to do is provide some basic diagnostic info so people can sort it out on their lan, but they don't respect their customers enough to do this simple thing.
