Multiplayer dead?

The day before I was able to join lobbies no problem (minus the usual GRW connectivity issue) and quickly, now two hours of trying to find a lobby and still not finding a single one has raised some concerns.

This is after the ubisoft big sale, so the player count currently is still quite big and yet absolutely no lobbies can be found in matchmaking.

Nat issues most likely, this has been a HUGE problem since 2017 since you need a degree in networking just to port forward and problem solve, because 90% of the time you could do everything right, set your TCP and UDP ports...and it'll still be set to strict and prevent you from playing coop.

multiplayer isnt dead, you can join each others games, you can host a matchmaking and invite your friends, you can play coop together if they are on your friends list, you can play gurillas also. So NO multiplayer isnt dead, what died was the support for finding random users to join you, that function is obsolete now. Get use to it, no predator mission anymore due to license issue, they arent ganna dump money into an old game, learn to add people to your friends list and send them invites.

on ANOTHER topic, pretty sure they are going to remaster this game one day, they did diablo 2 so pretty sure my assumptions correct on wildlands, was the best to happen sense that game mercenaries...

Unlikely a remaster because there has not been any GR games that have gotten a remake or remaster.

lol don't let this guy boot lick. Don't "Get used to" games dropping matchmaking support out of nowhere and misleading people that buy it currently.

Blizzard remastered Diablo 2.
Wildlands is made by Ubisoft.

Cooperative play works, you just can't do public matchmaking. But you can manually add people to your Ubisoft Connect in order to play with them in game. And personally, I have not had too much trouble with the daily challenges. Just be creative with your in-game options to lessen the frustration.
