PS4 Controllers

Is there is a way how to play GRWL with ps4 controller? because i cant use my right joystick to turn my camera while moving ETC

same with xbox controller. stupid ubisoft leaving out the dumbest things for controller support. this issue and reverse or descend in far cry games.

I'm playing the game with an xbox one controller and things are working just fine.

I'm not sure about ps4 one though.

same.. fusion pro. 45 minutes of trouble shooting. cant pan the camera.

wildlands has had controller issues since it came out the same issue is also in breakpoint

theres been no fix in 6 years i doubt any is coming in the future either

I had the same problem when I fired the game up for the first time using my Xbox Series S/X Controller, I had to fiddle with the Controller Settings for the game itself within Steam (not the global controllers). Disabling Steam Input fixed my problem.

tried that. that was my fix for the far cry issue. this game however it left me able to do nothing. had to force close the game and enable steam input again.

All I really did was go to "Properties" for the game at the library, went down to controllers on the left, and disabled Steam Input on the right and it worked for me. Make sure your Global Steam Controls though have the Xbox Controller option. Hopefully this helps.

plug in your controller, then go to the controller template menu on steam for the game, there are two templates made for wildlands, select the second one with the "(GRW)" on it

additionally you don't need to disable steam input, I left mine on enabled. Just selecting the 2nd layout worked for my PS5 controller

so... selecting the 2nd layout worked.. for like 3 seconds. then even after a restart, it just would not recognize controller at all. so then.... i disabled steam input. restarted game again. and it plays as it should with out issue. for now at least...
