Question regarding permadeath in ghost mode

If i die in Ghost Mode, will my champaign mode be wiped too? I do not wanna play ghost mode if it means i will lose a 80+ hour champaign mode save... Can anyone confirm exactly what saves are affected upon death in ghost mode?

Nah, its a different mode with its own 3 save slots. Your campaign progress will be ok.

Thanks! If i unlock the exo suit in ghost mode, it will be avaliable in my main champaign?

hint: u can backup ur ghost mode and restore it if u wanna avoid permadeath

when does the perma death accur? If im in a mission and i die does that make it perma or is it only if i die while im NOT in a mission?

If you quit or crash waiting on being revived or you dont get revived.
or instant death situation like dying in a chopper or jumping off a cliff so yeah ...try to avoid doing that;P

Or any time the quality programming decides that you died. I just lost my save to jumping into the passenger seat of a helicopter. Literally just got in and died instantly.
