Resolution problem
So when I set the game to 1080p, I get the complete screen. But when I set it to my native resolution of 2560x1440 it doesn't scale the image. So I'm only seeing the top-left portion of the image.

What the ♥♥♥♥? Can't find a fix on the internet. Because all "resolution scaling" related topics talk about that graphics feature in particular, not my problem...

Yes i've tried borderless/windowed/fullscreen of hitting alt-enter.

My problem is the game insists on switching back to Borderless window everytime I launch the game, and no longer lets me use resolutions higher than my primary display.

I used to play just fine with custom resolutions and aspect ratios, but now the game insists I play only 1080 windowed.

This is the main thing I hate about the constant service updates Ubisoft does with their games now. Aside from having to download new updates each time you want to play, the new "fixes" often bring more problems.

This is how i fixed the game from going back to borderless window mode, go to your documents/mygames/wildlands look for a GRW config file, it should tell you config settings in the file type details. Open it and look for window mode it should be set to 1 as a default, 0 is window mode, 1 is bordless window and 2 is full screen. Change the 1 to a 2 and then just under windowmode, youll see adjust height and width, change those to the res you want and then click save as. Even Nvidias gforce exp, kept telling me it was borderless even though ive changed it inside the game countless times. When i changed it to 1 i looked at it again and it said window instead of borderless, so i changed it again to a 2 and now it says full screen. Loaded up the game and its now it starts in fullscreen. Hope this helps.

If you can't open the GRW config settings, meaning if it asks you what type of program you want to open it with, just open it with notepad.

HI all... i found the solution.

there is a option in nvidia control panel that allows you to change desktop size and location.
try couple times in order to get correct resolution for you.

this is the solution i found for my wildland. and i hope that it fixes your problem.
