Corrupted files no idea how to fix.

(I have the game on Uplay not on steam but it's worth a shot to post here)

The game keeps crashing with a ERROR mostly at the start or sometimes rarely in-game after a minute or two.

The ERROR is as followed: A corruption of the game files was detected.

I haven't played Wildlands in at least a year time and i wanted to play it this weekend with a friend of mine who's possibly buying it.

I have tried to reinstall Uplay which did not work.
I have tried to verify the game files of Wildlands which still resulted in the same ERROR message.
I have tried to reinstall the game itself which still resulted in the same ERROR message.

In the year I have not played the game nothing about my hardware has changed it's the same setup i used to play it a year ago without a single problem.

S.O.S Please send help.

link is broken... i still have this problem.. I've verified and check drivers and everything .. can't find any info online about how others have fixed this issue.
