How to play offline?

Is there a way to play so that i'm not met with 'Ubisoft unable to connect' or whatever?

I really dislike this kind of control, I've paid for the game I should be able to play it offline if i choose to, i preferred the old days when you bought a game installed it and could play it whenever you want and there werent any stupid loot crates and other monetised ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Wildlands is 100% Offline

..ofc Coop and DailyChallenge require Internet (as in any other game)

What do i have to do to enable offline play? anytime I start the game it usually takes a couple of goes for ubisoft to connect

DEFAULT uses your settings.. if you have Wifi/Internet, the game will try to connect you ofc

If you don´t care for Multiplayer/Online-features..
1. obvious solution: disable network / unplug router
2. smart solution: just start UbisoftConnect in OFFLINE-mode (great for STEAM-players as it only affects UBIsoft, while STEAM + Browser are ONLINE )

hmm.. that is indeed strange, but disabling NetworkAdapter in Windows works 100%, though solution 2 does the same without affecting Steam

I just tested all this before coming here..works AWESOME...even wrote a post/review on it. Tried it with BP, and of coarse that is still total fail, hah...WildLands really does shine in many areas, Like FOR SURE solo/offline availability, so epic for those who require such!

So now I will try AND LIKE BP as much as I can, because I will be doing the PvX thingie...yet for those times when the net goes down or whatever, I will have another similar classic to engage with...I wonder if it has that SUPERB IRONMAN mode that WL has tho? Anyone know if there is a mode like that there also? I just got em both this week!

WILDLANDS works on SteamDeck, but only OFFLINE mode. FPS is decent, not great:

none of these solutions worked for me.
open windows security and go to firewall.
choose advanced settings.
click on outbound rules.
click new rule.
choose program.
navigate to wildlands folder choose GRW.exe
choose block.
select 3 options.
save rule by giving it a name.
should now start in offline mode.

block ubisoft via firewall and voila ........
