If you don´t care for Multiplayer/Online-features..
1. obvious solution: disable network / unplug router
2. smart solution: just start UbisoftConnect in OFFLINE-mode (great for STEAM-players as it only affects UBIsoft, while STEAM + Browser are ONLINE

open windows security and go to firewall.
choose advanced settings.
click on outbound rules.
click new rule.
choose program.
navigate to wildlands folder choose GRW.exe
choose block.
select 3 options.
save rule by giving it a name.
should now start in offline mode.
