That alone creates an ocean of difference compared to Wildlands
Welcome to Wildlands where many players hit 200+ hours easily
Make sure to bookmark this and read the "QuickStart"-Guide for smooth entry..

The DLCs are separate Savefiles, that means you start again Lv.1 each time.
- FallenGhosts plays AFTER the events. Typically, you play it once main Story is done
- NarcoRoad is a Prelude, but more action-oriented Undercover than Stealth. I´d strongly suggest to play it MUCH later, once you have 300hours on the clock, know low Tiermode and have really good gear. Still, 50% is Arcade-style missions like GTA:V

Check ->Versions and explanations in the Guide, but know that I always suggest to finish first Playthrough in base game (~80-120hours). Ofc you can play with friends in Coop, whenever you feel like it (invite/join). Follow the Guides, play a bit stealthy and you´re Pro in 6 weekssweet. that is all the stuff i wanted to know. Thank you!
At the start i set everything to ultra so i could see how bad it runs and work backwards from there.. IT RUNS FLAWLESS! lmao. Im not even going to turn anything down
The vehicles.. They feel like actual VEHICLES with physics! In breakpoint they feel like they are electrically magnetted to the floor like those electric toy car racetracks.. Its just awful.
THE MAP IS A REAL PLACE! I could write a book on this topic i swear.. This is beyond important. No matter how creative the developers are its impossible to make a good openworld thats artificially contrived
Honestly breakpoint seems like it doesnt even have a physics engine its so clunky
I hope the developers read that. Hopefully, a few of them remember WHY Wildlands has become such a great game. Big budget, proficient staff, ambitious team, great dialogues + voice-actors. A lot of love for small details in worldbuilding. Hopefully they remember all that when trying Wildlands 2
Production-wise Breakpoint was cheaper and faster to produce, but that shows everywhere..
Did something happen where it was bad at launch? I wish breakpoint didnt exist and they just get updating this game
Did you find ->100% Wildland (Trailers + Movies?) in the Gear-Guide ? MUST WATCH

Reviews for Wildlands (usually ~70% in 2017/18) were better than Breakpoint (only ~60%). Both are games for adults with heavy violence, etc - Rating M (17y+)
All Reviews point out: Awesome game-world, but really demanding grafics in 2017 and many Missions/Sidequests were typical Ubisoft-style. Solid story, but too hardcore for many players. The game became better with FallenGhosts DLC and several improvements. Sadly the Mercenaries-update (2019) did not really help the game, as its core is PvE + Coop.. not PvP.
Those reviews capture the feel around Release:

Breakpoint COULD have been much better, but it was rushed to release in 2019 as Ubisoft had changed product lifecycle to "Release.. Year1.. Year2.. then maintenance mode".
So instead of a solid Wildlands DLC we got unfinished Breakpoint-Release
..I bought ULTIMATE, but damn Year2 was cancelled in early 2021 after the first year´s Sales-numbers were quite horrible and the playerbase got extremely agitated
Ubisoft added many new (optional) features and allows playing Breakpoint without Gear-score.. so you don´t need to level up equipment and save time.. still, at it´s core Breakpoint is just not finished. Missions sprayed all over the map, empty game-world, many other issues.. while only a handful of things got improved since Wildlands.
Being Division2 and Wildlands.. it doesn´t work.
-> As a result Division 2 is better and Wildlands still lacks a successor.. lol
I only played breakpoint like an hour but it reeked of all the shortcomings you just mentioned
i want to refund it but i purchased it from fanatical, id have to check their policy to see if i can apply for a refund
As someone who knows nothing about the latest GR games. Are the allied teammates new? Is that what you are refering to by mercenaries?
This games pretty tough i could totally see it getting negative reviews without squadmates to revive you. The squadmates were a a great idea
If you have an nvidia videocard over HDMI there is a 100% chance you are seeing less vivid colors than you can be seeing.
For some bizzarre reason nvidia drivers sets output range to limited by default. This is just in case somebody plugs in a REALLY old monitor. Like really old. pretty much any monitor released in the last 20yrs has full color range support. (0-255)
right click desktop - NVidia control panel - Look on the left side for "change resolution" - Scroll down a bit click "Use nvidia settings" then change output range from "limited" to "Full". As you press apply you can see blacks become much blacker and colors become way more vivid.
AMD cards dont have this issue because it auto-detects if your monitor can support full color range or not. I have no idea why nvidia drivers dont do this as well
Basically "make your way to the Rescue-Helicopter" and kill anything on the way.
While it flopped hard in Wildlands, it got its own game called GR: Frontline (2022) - extending the concept and making it more BattleRoyale

Start in Advanced difficulty.. once you progress (get Lv.30) you can activate Tiermode and difficulty ramps up slowly. Tier35 = Extreme. Below Tier25 it gets really tough.
-> Btw Tier40 gives you the mother of all Sniper-rifles. DersertTech HTI = 1hit through 3 walls
Definitely one of the hardest games out there, but stick to it. After 300hours you will shoot like a god..
