Free camera ability

Is there any way to free up the camera/ look function? as i play it stays static until i stop moving and only then can i move the camera freely. Am i doing something wrong? Is this function broken/ glitched? BTW i am using my pc xbox360 controller.

Camera in Wildlands (and Breakpoint) is kinda locked to your field of view and falls back in position when moving. Same applies to vehicles.
Just when standing still you can circle around yourself.
Another option is using Ansel (Nvidia only) for cinematics/screenshots.

-> Once you got the first Drone, you get full free 360° view with drones at least

Go to the controller settings > browse config > look for a config by lain666. It should be the first with 21 votes.

It's not your game, it's the incorrect default config controls that is loaded when you start the game.

Shift tab. Or click the game from your library and right click > settings/preferences

Anyone with "Xbox 360" Controller can just change to "Xbox One" profile and it will work
Or just run as generic Gamepad (instead of Xbox). No need to make it overcomplicated..
