GRW's idea of extremely difficult is enemies randomly appearing out of no where?? Come on now!!
This makes the game a piece of crap and boring! You could easily spend 3 or more minutes carefully scanning for all enemies and then take two steps in an area you just cleared and out of nowhere a newly spawned rebel shoots you. Then you are either in need of meds-help or dead with one shot. WTF how is this fun, I'd rather have 3 times the amount of enemies in battle for "extreme difficulty" than this random spawning BS.

I haven't been able to enjoyed the game for a while now cause I am either taking a chance that a "random enemy spawn" doesn't appear as I move forward or I am continuously scanning to make sure the "let's throw an enemy in the spot he just cleared" doesn't show up. This makes the game extremely anti-entertaining because regardless of how hard you work to stay stealth or to wipe out the enemy, at any given time an enemy can spawn where you know you just cleared and ruin your achievement. So now I find I have to double check areas... what a way to stretch a game out to the point of boredom. I mean really GWR that is lame, and lazy, F@#%ing lazy. And to make matters worse, at some point the game removes the soft light that warns the player of enemies near by, so a BS spawning can appear at any given time. Keep it real... I didn't spend all this money to play a game with literal ghost appearances.

Just so you know, I am first to admit that I suck at combat games, my shooting terrible so the GRW challenges were welcomed as I hoped it would help develop my skills. I am at Tier 33 and for a person with little skills like me, it is hard as hell, so this type of hard (with the spawning) is dumb and here is why:
1. As mentioned it slows the game down, even further than the slow pace it already is when you consider the time it takes to scan an area for enemies, cause now players have to check for ghost appearance otherwise they will have to take a chance that they are good to move forward (or back or to the sides, Smh).
2. None of the weapon aim and shoot fast enough, NONE, WTF!!!!!! How are we supposed to defend ourselves against a random appearance if by time we raise our weapons to shoot, wait for it to scope/hip fire, the enemy has already put a bullet in us?? Please explain that ludicrousness .
3. One random enemy spawn, seems to summon other enemies and other F@#iing random spawns, I mean really GWR F'OFF with that.
4. When playing at the Tier Lvl which removes the soft light that warns there are enemies present on the map, it is also round the time that their bullets wipe you out, I mean like KILL YOU. So why not make it a fair battle, why do you need Ghost spawns?? Just don't, its not needed, the♥♥♥♥♥♥is hard enough as it is.
5. And is it just me or has everyone experienced that all the work put in to building up the Skills (weapons, the drone, the items, physical etc.) was in vein cause it all feels like it went back to zero. What's the point of "Time to Aim" if its not fast enough, "Mark Area" if you still have to painstakingly place the enemy in the little circle to find them and and lets not talk about bullet resistance. Building them up is yet another waste of time in the game unless you're not playing in the Tier mode. I stupidly spent hours building them up thinking it was needed for the Tier mode, how silly do I feel now : |
6. The most important reason is that, as a player, I feel I am no longer testing my resolve, diligence or patience, I am literally testing my anger management skills, my ability to not shout WTF!!!! at the top of my lungs because of some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t enemy spawning. To be clear, if I thoroughly clear and area it should stay cleared at least until a reasonable amount of time has occurred for an enemy to occupy it. And yes I am to the point of checking spots nearest to me twice, which is why it is so frustrating, because it has become unnecessarily time consuming. I am literally turning off the game to watch television or to do something else because its so annoying.

I read online since 2017 that others have been plagued with this before, so cheers to you all who made it to Tier 1 while experiencing random spawning, my hat goes off to you, truly.
But seriously.... GRW... I understand that in Tier Mode the difficulty level should increase, but not at the cost of the gameplay, it makes it suck. I want to die cause of poor shooting skills, or not checking my Six, not doing a proper scan and running into a building half ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (yeah, that's asking to be killed), hell, for even trying to throw a grenade in a door and not realizing it bounced back at me (yup I have done that too, more often than I'd like to mention). I do allot of dumb, stupid♥♥♥♥♥♥ so dying over some random enemy spawning... well thats F'd Up. Come on now.

Sorry this was so long, but as you can tell, I am not a happy camper right now.

I am just going to go at it a bit at a time, turning it off when I feel like i am gonna rage, and if I am still at it by time "Overkill's the Walking Dead" comes out, then I will be putting this game in my rear view mirror

Use the ghost recon HQ mobile app, can still see the red and purple circles even on tier mode with the satellite view.

It just happened again at an airfield in Villa Verde. A heavy spawned right behind me as I killed the last enemy. Luckily the AI picked me up fast enough.

Well I just played beta and is only a beta at this point so wont be too harsh but it suffers from and will continue to suffer from "overkillitus" and worse they have adpoted the ubisofts abotion of an idea of "matchmaking" basicly I spent 2 min waiting on ppl to join me wen all I wanted was to rush out and kill things to test.
Then when finaly loaded in I had to wait a further min or so where I have to run around like a mad chook hammering in defences , cough cough I mean boards into place that should have been there in the first place being thier base and not when the zombies come a knocking.
Combat itself was ok but with overkills small format maps and a very outdated unreal engine....I have not got my hopes up for anything truely outstanding.

Also characters again like PD2 rather than a gender select then class/skill tree select.
I can see much much more of these to come with overkill ticking every "diverse" box they can to please as many people as they can while stinging you more money each time for a character that holds gameplay features to ransom with each dlc.

I just looked it up, it only show the red and purple dots once you discover them, I haven't seen any info that show it will show you the red or purple cloud that appears when arriving near enemies. So it seems to almost be the same thing except once you discover an enemy it shows you where they are looking. Apparently it does take up a substantial portion of you screen though, not sure that I like that. But thanks for the suggestion

It does show the red and purple clouds, it's the only reason I use the app and I don't play the game without it anymore. I use it on my phone and it does take up the entire phone screen. I have the phone on my desk but you could probably lean yours against your monitor or something.

Those good old Ghost Recon days when the reinforcements rolled up on like a real life scenario, oh how I hated it but now miss it. Maybe its the ingame way of stealth enemies sneaking up on us, its irritating as all hell when its illogical but I guess it hard for the creators to figure the logistic with the many different ways players approach a game. I think the one thing that woud make it better would be if our damn weapons could react as fast as we do when trying to counter attack, its nothing like spotting the respawn but dying because the weapon won't shoot fast enough, I don't understand why the enemy AI can raise and shoot their weapons faster, that's some BS.

Oh, I didn't see the clouds in any images or youtube vids. Well that changes everything and it pretty smart to use it on your phone so that your screen doesn't loose visual realistate. I shall check it out. thanks

Great... Well that bites. So the matchmaking was for multiplayer mode or within the game itself?
