Story any good?
is there any point in playing this for the story or is it like other ubi titles (division 1, 2) where the story is basically non existant.

The story is quite good actually, but haven't paid much attention to it since my first & second playthroughs about 2 years ago.

its alright, it provides context to what you're doing which makes the game more fun imo

There is a focus on story. But the writing is frankly not great. Nor is the voice-acting. Though while the voice-acting isn't great, it's still better than the NPCs in Halo, for example.

There isn't much of a story but I like the characters.

There are three teams:
The Rebels - You work with them in returning Bolivia back to a nation free of tyranny
Santa Blanca - A cartel focused on making money through drugs and death that takes over Bolivia.
Unidad - The Military of Bolivia who works for Santa Blanca under the request they keep smuggling and civilian deaths to a minimum.

18 Buchons to defeat with 4-5 missions. 4 Underbosses and 4 Heads of Security, Influence, Production or Smuggling. There are also 4 Special Operations which merge with other Clancy games.
Oracle Black Op where you need to extract a Skell Tech expert from Unidad hands.
Silent Spade Special Op you work with other ghosts to extract uranium from Russian Ultranationalists.
Rainbow Six Op where you need to find and return Caviera to R6.
Splinter Cell Op where you assist Sam Fisher in terminating a rogue CIA agent and returning US secrets out of Unidad Hands.
