I've read that you can get the HK416 from the R6 Siege pack. But I don't see it anywhere in their store.

If you want something similar..
- R4 (lower RoF, but very precise.. basically the ranged M4A1)
- or the Allround-solution: ACR
- LVOA-C BadNews would be ideal, but Tier05 is a looooooong way

Doesn't it only say you can only get it from the store?

Admittedly, I've come to the conclusion that Ubisoft can be a bit... slack... with stuff so I get if it's an oversight.

Correct. But I think my Guide is the only one in the Internet that has it figured out because I got it from CRATE.. just when I planned to buy it anyway. As you said, sometimes UBIsoft makes changes and no one updates the description.
-> To be fair, many changes happened in 2019.. most Guides are from 2017/2018.. and almost no one bothered to track Gear since the info was already there (mostly)

On the other side, several items are much harder to get now.. because UBIsoft changed items to be "STORE-only via Packs".. worst stuff are those Patches (at least 10+), but also some items you cannot get ingame (but often not in description)

I have ~1k hours in Wildlands and still missing ~30items
(10-13 Patches, a few Social/GhostWar, some items that seem to be GhostWar-Packs only )
-> Patches alone means 20k CREDITS *rofl*
-> also turned out: the GhostWar-stuff from Store-packs is exclusive.. -- bummer --
(I know because I have all SpecOps/GhostWar-Crates)..

Still, Wildlands is a great game.. though I had some tweaks in mind (esp. rewriting AI a bit )

The R6 equipment pack is part of the Ghost War Store. Just start up Ghost War and open the store page from there. It's listed there permanently just like the Relentless Fighter and Frontline packs. There is no need to wait for it to come up in the regular store. The equipment in that pack is available to you in the single player campaign as well.

He probably means that if you buy it from Ghost War store, which is multiplayer, it also unlocks for single player. Anyway as he said, launch Ghost War and buy it from there, no need to wait for it to appear in single player store.
