You're totally right. I'll be calling them tomorrow for store credits refunds because i'm really not happy about this. if i knew this going to happen i wouldn't of bought the ultimate edition
In the end you need the Tier1 reward weapon to blast cars and strongest stuff.. kinda stupid, because this is not MassEffect or Half-Life series
Then again UNIDAD reinforcement troops below Lv.40 (Tier1) are similar.. plated all over the body and hard to kill with most weapons, especially in packs.
+1 Agreed. It´s already sad the Stealth-Gameplay went out of the window in the later part of the game. Especially since they messed up better Weapons + Upgrades.. most reward weapons are just garbage. Well, UBIsoft after all
Maybe it was good they didn´t bring Ghost Recon Breakpoint to STEAM. After all, Splinter Cell Blacklist was the best by a mile.. even this is just beautiful scenery with decent tactics.. but enemies hear too well.. spy you easy after discovery.. even on long range at night without any nightvision.. shoot too far with aimbot.. etc...etc
@the guys thinking they got cheated by UBIsoft:
You all AGREED to the terms. It´s clearly stated that the company can remove and/or change content as they see fit, even without notification.
Similar things happened to other Uplay games. But it´s a mission most won´t miss, Backlash is low
I just did this myself, so it does work.
Seems legit.
What unfortunately isn't spelled out here ( AND WHY THE F NOT, UBISOFT?) is that the update also removes:
- the Predator mission(s)
- 6 camo items
If you have completed the Predator mission, you get to keep the item rewards.
The removal is due to expired licensing (announced on Ubisoft forums two weeks ago), and it was removed 3 years to the date since it was introduced.
I read a claim elsewhere that this game (at least on consoles, not sure about Uplay) is coded so that each update contains every previous update, and so each update has gotten progressively bigger, regardless of actual content added or changed. Console players have had to download 22-26 GB for this minor update (one user claimed 55 GB).
