How to kill the predator
I couln't find a single thread about this, so I made one up.

What are the best (easiest/fastest) ways to kill the predator? Also, what is the best tactic to avoid the plasma shot after laser targeting?

Dumb question probably, but you said "roll around", can you actually roll in the game? Because if you can, it would be much better.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The Predator doesn't aggro rebels, but they do take some of his fire

This was exactly how I just did it. I wish the investigation lasted longer and the fight more of a cat and mouse, but it was a decent distraction from the normal "kill all Cartel" gameplay.

The Predator is pretty difficult when it comes to killing, but that just makes the mission more worthwhile.

One weak thing I've noticed so far in the fight is that he targets me with his laser sight immediately after I'm being revived and nearly kills me twice in a row.

Took me a while, but I tree hugged, and just used one weapon, my Desert Tech HDI, that I levelled up. On tier 32 as well, which was fun in a way. He appears, aim for head. Took about 15 headshots. Oh, and as others have said, send in the rebels as well, helps :)

Its actually so much easier in single player. It targets your Ai first and basically ignores you. Also the ai get each other and yourself up so thats a bonus

Mhe i getting only 2 rebels for spotting and 2 for backup. They are killed in the first 2 minutes.

You probably have to upgrade the skills.

Easy way to kill the predator...

Step 1. Look for a spot between two trees in the mission zone while outside the zone (look with drone).

Step 2. Call in rebel support and a vehicle while outside the predator battle zone.

Step 3. Find the vehicle along the nearest road and park it between the two trees so your cover looks like a box with only one open side to cover. Essentially the vehicle protects one side and the two trees protet two more.

Step 4. Destroy the vehicle so that it doesnt blow up on you.

Step 5. Everyone in your squad coveres that last opening and shoots the predator before he can shoot, causing him to cancel his shots and retreat.

When grenades are sent in (red marker on floor), leave cover if necessary then return quickly. If you find a good place for cover, his grenades cant hit you as they function more like missles and cover can block them (sometimes).

Fight can take about 15-30min as he has an insane amount of health. Patience and caution is key here.
