Smooth FPS Settings. Hope this helps you guys.
I found my personal settings to run buttery smooth with hardly any issues. So, I hope this helps you. These settings are based on my system specs which are not the most high end as other rigs. So, this may help out many other people who are having fps settings issues. Im running at 1080p at a solid 60 fps +. In heavy areas, it drops to 58 fps and i have yet to see it fall any lower than that. So, as for me, the game runs smooth is peach pie. If it helped you, leave a comment or leave a link for someone who needs the settings. If it didnt help, well...i dunno what to tell you other than your system might not meet the minimum specs.

My Specs: Intel Xeon w5590 @3.33ghz (2 processors)
Ram 36gb DDR3
Asus GTX 1060 Turbo 6gb
3 TB HDD
1080p 60hz

GRAPHIC SETTINGS:
Preset: CUSTOM

I only turned off DOF, Motion Blur, and Bloom. I also set Godrays from Enhanced to ON and I get between 40 - 55fps on Ultra on my system at 1080p, I don't need 60 constant to be playable

Ryzen 5 2600x, 16GB ram, GTX 1070

Glad to hear it worked out for you. The DOF is personal preference, so you can turn them off if you dont like it.
Tbh I would put draw distance to medium and would lower LOD Bias though. Draw-distance is much more noticeable than LOD.

Ide say, to keep these settings as a base. And then fiddle with them as you like til you get the setting that suits your preference. That way, if you change everything and you forget how the settings were, you can always fall back to these settings and start over.
For me, im humble with these settings and i game on haha!.

I do have a curious question though, why 36GB ram? don't you mean 32GB ? (4 x 8GB or 2 x 16GB sticks)

Haha! Nope its 36gb of ram. Thats what i got. My Motherboard supports a Max memory of 96gb and i have an Optional Riser that holds a max of 192gb. But when i bought the rig, alot of ram sticks were pulled out and only 36gb of ram was left in it. It has a mix of different size memory sticks tho. Ide post a photo of it but ill send you a link instead if you wanna check it out. I picked it up for $100 on pure luck and modified the hell out of it. It does me justice and i cant complain except that its heavy AF.

lol thats crazy, my ryzen board only supports to 64GB max but I won't need anywhere near that much for a long time for gaming

Sorry but your setting is irrelevant for all other Gamer!!

"my system specs which are not the most high end as other rigs. "

The Main problem is you are using a Server Maninboard with Xeon CPU!

To what extent Xeon CPUs and even 2 works with games or not, unknown.

In addition, you only have ~16 GB Ram, because your memory is shared

since each Xeon has memory to be used alone!

But this only on the edge!

It is interesting to see a benchmark from your computer!

But everything you do or leave is irrelevant because you have

an unique computer!

I also don't understand your setting! Why not ultra with texture quality and Anisotropic Filtering: 16 with 6GB VRam?
Why Draw Distance Low with 2x Xeon and a 1060?

My Setting:
Resolution: 2560 x 1440------> DSR Nvidia on 1920x1080 Monitor
Resolution Scaling: 1.00 -----> If you go to 0.7 you can use with 4GB
Window Mode: FullScreen
Refresh Rate: 60
VSYNC: Off
Framerate Limit: 30 -----------> or off and Nvidia Profil Inspector with 31FPS....
Graphics Preset: Custom
Antialiasing Mode: TEMPORAL AA
Ambient Occlusion: None
Draw Distance: Very High
Level of Detail: Ultra
Texture Quality: Ultra
Anisotropic Filtering: 16
Shadow Quality: High
Terrain Quality: Ultra

Iron Sights DOF: Off
High Quality DOF: On
Bloom: Off

It really doesnt matter. Updates to either The Game or Drivers of Nvidia have messed up the game. When i first played the game when it came out it worked just fine. Now even if i seem to get 50-60fps it just doesnt run as smooth as it did.

OVD...You must be coming from console. :steamfacepalm:
If youre gonna sit behind your screen and tell me...about what hardware YOU THINK i have installed, you need to slap yourself and go back in the corner.

These settings are here to help whoever it helps. This aint instagram or a facebook drama show. If you wanna act like a Console Peasant, go play Xbox. This discussion is to try to help people. This isnt a pis.sing contest. If you have a suggestion for settings to help people...then by all means. The way i see it is, the more people participating to post their settings, the better. But you can take your attitude elsewhere.

I don't understand your answer, what does that mean?
It has nothing to do with what I said !?
My answer to your statement was constructive and above all true.
I also gave you a few tips for your setting!
In case you can't remember:

Before you spread any nonsense about console or anything, and I still don't know what that is all about, give an answer, what's your setting?

I also don't understand your setting! Why not ultra with texture quality and Anisotropic Filtering: 16 with 6GB VRam?
Why Draw Distance Low with 2x Xeon and a 1060?

My apologies if you were giving out constructive criticism. The answer to your question is...I choose the specified settings because it runs smooth for me. Sure i can put it on Ultra (and i do) but some settings may not work for others. So, if people can get steady fps with these settings(as a base) then they have the ability to change and adjust to their liking or whatever their pc can handle. But if they forget the setting they had started with, they can refer back to these settings and start over.
As for my computer, I can run the game no problem with a 6gb card. But i dont....why? Its my preference. I dont like to put alot of weight on my GPU's and overclock to push my card to its limits. I like to keep what i pay for in excellent condition, whether it costs me $100 or $1000 or $50000. Thats the beauty of pc gaming. Its my choice.

I just tried the 442 drivers and they are garbage (had massive lag spikes and freezes), so far 441.87 seems to be best for this game
