More importantly, the writing is a lot more solid and candid (now even with some dialogue options); that of Wildlands has a very cheesy and superficial feel to it. The geography is also a lot more convincing, with tropical jungles that transition almost seamlessly into mountainous plains and sandy beaches on a geometrically-nonstandard island as opposed to the Minecraft-esque "Snow --> Desert --> Jungle and Farms" on a square map in Wildlands.
She meant - we were discussing it yesterday, after some experimentation - that, their Behaviour to the commands given them matches the AI teammates from FS (Pepper, GhostLead, 30K),
The same applies to their Movements/or idling stances, especially with Vasily(sniper) (Pepper in FS).
Also about Vasily (the sniper) he remains always close to you, even, when the other two fellas down, he has your back just like Pepper (the sniper) does in FS.
The Command wheel options remains the same than in Wildlands. Unfortunately.
However, their response time and performance is very effective now. Exception when you play on Easy and Normal, and have injury system set to Off.
Another exception, with an unreliable/or weak internet connection the statement of good response time and effectiveness of the AI teammates is a negative.
Communication: communication language behaviour through the radio is also the same than what FS AI teammates spoken to your ears throughout the game. Plus there is some nice additions to it by now in BP.
AI mates VA: We were listening them so long that we believe Ubi reused Holt/Weaver/and 30K (from FS) (30K if you change Fury's gender to male)
Gotta agree with Dirty above,I do like those aspects a good deal
Side note : Accidently made fixit a american flag with his M4 shotgun (May had tried to make him stand out at first)
Gameplay aside, is Breakpoint still completely riddled with microtransactions? As much as I'd love to jump into a more polished version of Wildlands, I'm not as keen to jump into another Ubisoft title chalkful of microtransactions, battlepass systems, and more. I'd love to have extensive customization like Wildlands just without the price tags.
Yes, BP has a Store same as WL has where are microtransactions for skins e.g echelon skins, or figures, weapons skins if what the base game has to offer not enough, or skell credit crates (ghost coins) same as in Wildlands.
The rest of the items when you hover over the mouse you'll read you can get this item by progressing in the game simple as that.
Within the game you've tons of clothings, weapons, knives, gadgets, vehicles and yadda yadda yadda long lists of items to choose from and customize the hell out of your ghost. You buy these with in-game currency which is scattered throughout the game world so you've to collect it. According to the story it's right. Haha
Wolf AI (From UAV,aka move towards you while suppressing,However base wolves are FAR better) seems similar to beta still, but normal AI seems similar to wildlands minus the varaints (Such as breachers rushing your position, heavies doing a suppressive push and drones)
Teammates do things differently based on guns but have a few flaws (For some reason one at a two story ,failed to revive me heavily) (Side note ,They are stupid versus terminators however (They will attempt to clear around you to than revive, but due to how terms work,They can not)
Immersion mode turn enemy tags off, which turns off health bars for drones, intel carriers remain marked
Outcasts seem like rebels but harder to tell friend from foe ,they also will lose against non standard(excluding breachers and radio operators ,and of course bagmen) enemies, such as drones ; and are random in showing up (However when they do show up,They are a nice distraction ,very if you attempt to support them)
Also sam fisher and terminator crossovers from what I've seen
And to save best for last ; Customisation
I agree you get FAR less options (Sad the one toxic gasmask isn't in BP ,also sad gasmasks can no longer be worn with any hat or helmet from what I seen) and most camos at the start are a touch locked behind ingame skell credit store (skell credits = ones you get for free) and certain pvp achievements
outcast wise gave me a missile strike thing
