Title Update 5
The maintenance for PC and consoles is now over! Thank you for your patience. Please also note that the Patch 5.0 is available for download.

Players in game need to reboot the game to apply the patch. Its size is up to 7.42GB on PC depending on your client and up to 8.8 GB on consoles. You can still keep on playing and wait before applying the patch.
An in-game notification will let you know when the patch is available. Please note that in order to play co-op with friends, you will need to all have the same version of the game.
Please be aware that the patch will automatically download the next time you launch the game, so if you are already in a game session, you will need to reboot it to benefit from the improvements.

Here’s the detailed list of fixes and improvements coming with Title Update 5 on PC and consoles on June 28th, with the PC-specific ones at the end:

USER INTERFACE
The reason for detection is now displayed above the mini-map.

GAMEPLAY
Fixed a bug where the player could not use the drone or the binoculars after using the medic drone to heal.
Fixed a bug where vehicles would take low damage when shot from a long distance.
Corrected a bug where the Stoner LMG folded buttstock would be described with an incorrect location in the loadout.
Corrected a bug where Whisper pistol had no silencer and would alarm NPCs if players used it.

AUDIO
An unusual noise was heard near a ruined hut…
Fixed a bug where the M9 handgun would sound the same with or without a suppressor.

NARCO ROAD
Fixed a bug where the follower icon could be missing when in the tacmap.

FALLEN GHOSTS
-Fixed a bug where the player would be detected by NPCs when shooting at long distance with a crossbow.

PC
Fixed a bug where excessive lighting would occur in certain weather types in the Fallen Ghosts expansion when the Enhanced Godrays option was enabled.
Fixed a bug where selecting the Left Handed Mouse option would display the right click for fast travel on the tacmap instead of the left click.
Fixed a bug where an Xbox One controller would lose input if the controller was disconnected while the game was unfocused.,
Fixed a bug where the mouse click was not displayed for the Skills shortcut in the Command Wheel.
Fixed a bug where a pop-up related to Easy Anti Cheat would be displayed at every game start if the User Account Control feature was enabled in Windows.*
Fixed a bug where rapidly closing NVIDIA Ansel after it was open caused the game to run at 1 frame per second.

4.4gb for 4 tiny fixes? are you kidding us ubisoft? we know you suck at programming stuff but that's just ridiculous (specially since your fixes didn't work last time either, eh, "superman glitch"?)

i don't understand why these updates are so big... for me, its 4.4 GB every single time, and I can't understand how bug fixes and other smaller things make up 4.4 GB...

4.4gb for this??? Ubi plz...

And it's one of those patches that you can't play the game until it is installed. Which is lame. It may be the only game I play that does that. Usually you can play games on Steam when the patch is DLing; it just halts the patch download.

WHy must you do things so a$$-backwards, Ubisoft?

I wish I didn't love GR:Wildlands so much. I've uninstalled games for having these stupid big patches (Company of Heroes 2, I'm looking at you).

4.4GB for some measly fixes...

Strange!

Patch size does not directly correlate with the amount of fixes guys. The game uses big files to store data and when something gets modified, usually the whole file needs to be redownloaded. In this case though, I think they use seperate patch files that get overlaid on the main files which does knock down the download a size a bit (be glad it's only 4.4 GB and not 10).

Not every game is made in Source Engine where everything is packed all neat and tidy into smaller files.
