Are you still getting this issue after going through and reinstalling Uplay?

I have the same problem. The game was starting and running fine for 2 days and now i got this error:
unable to locate uplay please reinstall uplay pc
I reinstalled uplay 4 times und repaired the vcredist but it did not helb

By the way Far Cry 4 is launching and running without problems- it uses uplay as well

Exactly the same problem here! :(

It was running for 2 days and now I get this error. Reinstalled uplay several times. Nothing. Still does not work. Division is running without problems.

This is exactly my problem.
Runs 2 Days without any problems. (15 Hours played)
Than, try to start at third Day; S... happens
Nothing Ive tried, fix this problem so far
This is very very annoying; Ive paid money for nothing

here a few hints from me:
I am using AVAST Antivir
First at 06.23. I bought the game from STEAM.
AVAST is always running; no gaming mode
For 2 Days the game is running fine; no Problems (16 hours gametime)
Then, at 3 day, the uplay error.
For trial, I bought a new game in Media Markt, DVD, Version, without Steam
I used a new UBI-Account, without STEAM!
Same problem....... (How can that be???)
The game was running fine for 2 Days.
Hope for help for me and some friends, have the same Problem
