so yeah sometimes i get 10 minutes chasing part with some random guys. and you can see how easy could it be done in solo.
and if more people knows the drill that would beat your theory. 4 people on 4 convoys, 2 minutes for 50k res, it's not that bad.
edit: also helps when you are just out and about and a convoy shows up when you happen to be doing something else, just wasting them as an aside, convoys dont have much replay value, are not fun and should just be taken with as little hassle as managable to my mind
It's far better to just have high vehicle damage skills and just shoot at the truck until the driver bails I've found. That way you can control the amount of damage that the supply truck takes rather then just getting the most powerful rifle in the game and blowing it up automatically.
This game is already so easy, yet people tend to turn it into a senseless grind even more.
you're doing this more complicated.
5000 res are not that many around you, easpecially the one you really wanted, sometimes gas, sometimes comms, it won't be that easy to find 'cause mostly there won't be that many convoys with 5000 res that you are looking for. most people won't even up to 2500 or 3500 res, and in your case, what, you're going to half these too? fly some res heli already. so it always took you a minute to locate and get in position. so in fact, not that much mindless and fast you were saying. and in solo you can't fast travel or convoy disappears, but not in coop. so the idea is always play with someone else, adding more people helps a lot.
think if we all know that, and knows how to disable a convoy safely without blowing it up, that 4 players can up to 4 different targets, you get all the res you want for a single weapon or maybe an entire skill tree, just for like 10 or 20 minutes. that's time efficiency thing you were saying, i think.
it just saving much more time for not blowing it.
it's not a fun mission type yes we all know that, thanks, but it's the fastest way to upgrade weapons and lvup skills, everyone gets there for their goal, there's no one hitting convoys for enjoyment unless people doing playthrough or something
