PSA: WARNING about the Exoskeleton Unlock

I don't know if this is an individual bug, currently I'm still trying to see how to recover my Exoskeleton unlock. ***Skip to the bottom for the warning***

Intro:

I was attempting Tier 1 after I have beaten the game in Ghost Mode, and was at Tier 41 trying to obtain the Spas shotgun unlock. But unable to, since it's located in a Unidad base, and Watchman mission is preventing me from killing anyone, thus making it infinitely harder to get the weapon. So I've decided to just attempt the mission to get it out of the way, and needless to say, I died at the 2nd phase once Sam Fisher decided to not give me any time to prep the zone.

Result:

I figured, oh well. Trying to reach Tier 1 in Perma Death is rather a pipe dream anyway, would require too much time and effort, and the regular Tier farming runs would still be a tremendous work for just a 'black / gold' colour scheme. I'd settle for my 'steel / blue', so I was going to head on over to Campaign, and perhaps switch to Amature difficulty to have some gun blazing fun to unwind from having to be extremely cautious for the past few days.

FIRST:
My Save was gone upon reload to main menu.
No fret, this happened before, I restarted the game entirely, and my save was there. Then the kicker follows.

Exoskeleton suit is now RE-LOCKED
It is asking me to -the requirement of unlock-, in order to be able to use it again.

I don't know what I can do at this point, since Ghost Mode straight up delete your save file once you die, so I don't even know what kind of evidence I can present to Ubi Support.

TL:DR;

If you're doing Ghost Mode to unlock the Exoskeleton Outfit. Once you're done, exit and save. And never touch that save file ever again. If you wish to attempt Ghost Mode for any other reason, don't stack the stakes on that single save file.

i unlocked the exo back pack and died but it stayed unlocked for me. you may have to resync. i couldnt get the prestige points after completing the regions in ghost mode until i restarted steam.

quick question: what are the items you can unlock in tier1 ghost mode?

I have tried countless time to restart / resync my game. Which involved a lot of times my save file did not load up (result in my game appearing in a blank state).

Tier 1 Ghost Mode only unlocks the "Carbon / Gold" Colour scheme for your Exoskeleton.

wierd people are having these issues....i lost 7 characters on ghost mode but exo suit stays unlocked.

Should check Ubisoft forum, I'm kinda glad that this issue is getting quite poppular.
Though, still no solid response from Ubisoft about any sort of fix.

I have a save to re unlock---actually 2, one with 100% and another with the final mission just unlocked...so I do a quick kill of el sueño, and then I do el boquitas final mission and boom, all exo unlocked again...but no level 30 color though. Im going to have another save with the level 29 as to redo that until they patch this ♥♥♥♥. It seems to be a ubi launcher issue, something is screwing the sync.

Hey Elysia, can you send me a save file? I'm having trouble with mine (a lot of people as well) and previously I was able to get a save from the steam version and make it work on my uplay version.

I just hit concrete missing water. I get the down symbol which is fine. As my body is falling the bumbass animation caused my down body to go into the water, causing me insta death Now i got reset once again. .....----------_______--------.

Are you... f*cking kidding me.. Please tell me this was just a bug and this isn't how the unlock works... I will commit death if that is the case. I only really wanted the spine and the boots, so I am not even gonna risk it for the damn gold armour if I lose the gear as well as my save... f*ck the save was bad enough.

Its seriously not worth playing this mode unless you just want to get credits. These clothes look awful compared to Black Ops 3 styles anyways.

Oh wait, two idiots on the ending video telling how special and good you are... I'd rather tell them go ♥♥♥♥ themselves.
