gold or ultimate edition?

so the game is on sale rn and i wanna know which version is better to buy thanks

Gold Year 2 is base game + year 2 pass
Year 2 pass is mostly cosmetics and a few weapons plus instant access to 6 year 2 Ghost War (PVP) classes

Season Pass year 1 includes the 2 DLCs for GRW Narco Road and Fallen Ghosts plus instant access to 6 year 1 Ghost War (PVP) classes

So if you want the game and all its dlcs and instant access to 12 Ghost War (PVP) classes you better of buying Ultimate year 2 edition (this edition includes Base game, Season Pass year 1, Year 2 Pass and a few other goodies Deluxe bonus and a starter pack or something like that)

The main difference in the products you mentioned on the Steam store is that the Gold Edition only includes the Core Game and Year 2 Pass, where as the Ultimate Edition includes the Core Game, Year 1 Season Pass, Year 2 Pass and Quick Start Pack..

I got gold last year after buying regular premium edition 1st. Gold - you got the alywas on 5% xp booster, plus Fallen Ghosts where you can earn the Extranjeros BFG sniper rifle - so far best in game sniping atm until they nerf it somemore :(

I am not a chaser so do not buy season passes - still enjoying what I do with al various characters.

BTW Fallen Ghosts has enemy mobile jammers that run where needed, and extra good snipers which add a lot :)

I think Ultimate has them all and while on sale a good buy.

CAUTION
The original Gold Edition that you bought last year which includes Base game + Season Pass Year 1 is no longer available on the Steam Store
As I posted earlier there are now Gold Year 2 = Base game + Year 2 Pass
or Ultimate Year 2 = Base Game + Season Pass Year 1 + Year 2 pass + Quick start (some attachments and xp boosters)

Also the infinite 5% xp booster is included in Season Pass Year 1 which is part of the Ultimate Year 2 edition

Personally when I first got it I played the whole campaign and got all the collectibles solo with AI teammates, took me about 100-150 hours before I jump to coop. (I wanted to be fully upgraded and experience the whole game on my own terms)

Forgive my game edition oversights. I retest weapons more than a read about new markets.

And whilst I do not own every sniping weapon, the Extrajeros BFG is by far the bestest of the bestest - earn it in Fallen Ghosts and follows any character u own I think. I'll check that out soon.

And since now they offer skill pts to buy is a pay to win - complete.

it's still too expensive. All the cosmetics look nice, but base game needs improving to be charging such a high price still at this point in the games life.

If I may interject here, . . . I have many characters on the run, Tier 1 down.

The extranjeros, until they nerf it again, is still king of any including the dessert tech sorry.

My most recent played is Tier 20 and using the Extranjeros above 600m when I suddenly spot a convoy on my route is gravy.

Most used: is starting to be the MK249 & Extranjero BFG none of them levelled up for dmg yet.

I wud not know until I have every sniping weapon, but they can change the performances on a whim, so u bother?

I'm not a sniper player but I do have Desert Tech HTI always equipped as my second primary weapon to take care of enemies helicopters and ground vehicles in 1 shot for most vehicles.

Once I am CQ certified I'd love to join coop missions.
