Unable to equip the extended mag for the MSR (Ghost Recon Wildlands PC)

I can't equip the extended mag for the MSR. It says it can be found in the Remanzo area. I have found all content for that area, I went there and checked. I have accessory case 4/4. It only says "I" for loadout if I try to pick it up again. I restarted the game and my PC two times. I checked on my laptop. I even went as far as to uninstall the game, turn off my computer. Restart and install the game again. It's still locked in the parts menu.
Does anybody know what else I can try or is it bugged?

this is a bug that have happened to many including me, dont know how to fix it yet...
im at tier 8, this is so disappointing

Same problem but with M4A1 and M14. Do you know how stupid those weapons look with a 20 mag?

I don't really care about the looks. But more rounds per mag is an important upgrade. Esspecially for the MSR. One of the best sniper guns in the game, a game where stealth is important. And the higher tiers are getting more difficult with more enemies.

The M4A1 reminds me of a Vietnam-era M16 with the 20, I think it looks cool. I dislike the 50 though, looks weird - would rather use the 30 round... which for me it’s just the 30 for the M4 as well as the 30 7.62x39 for the AK-47 that is locked for me, which frustrates me because I would literally rather have the 30s instead of the 50s for the weapons using them. I can’t use the iconic 30 rd mag for the AK-47 which is better for the weapon because of it’s lower rate of fire, as the M4 looks better with the 30 and not the 50.

Part of it is looks, but a lot of it isn’t - I rather have the 30 over the 50 for most weapons except some very high rof ones like the G2 - I don’t need 50 bullets for even a small group of enemies, I’d rather have the 30 with the slightly faster reload due to handling.

They said we should get a patch for it in september, which is nearly 2 months after they broke our attachments.

And now I lost the silencer on the HTI, with no option attach it again. FFS

Sorry, didn't mean to quote you. I was too distracted to notice. I'm so pissed off. First no extended mag on the MSR and now my the silencer disapeared on the HTI. They might as well remove the sniper rifles from the game /s

Ill be honest; I dont see why would you need extended mags for a sniper if you are stealthing. Do you miss your shots a lot or something? I have extended mags for most of my snipers and I dont use them xd

No, not really. I don't always go stealth. And I want to have my ugrades if I found them. And the missing silencer on the HTI is game breaking. Not very stealthy.

We've received reports of some attachments being locked again, this is a known issue and has been forwarded to the development team already.
