My problem is that I cannot access my original account that Wildlands is linked to. I requested a Password Reset email, but it was never sent. So, I cannot even get into my account to change my user name ("Invalid user name or password"). What I did was create a different account, and am hoping I can re-link my game to that one.
If you can't access your account in any way, you need to contact Ubi and they probably need to see photo of your ID and the usual.
I am currently waiting for a Live Chat session with them.
Photo ID? The last time I requested my username/password with them all I had to do was answer personal information, none of that was required. Tbh you should never give out your photo ID on the internet.
Same here. Just finished a Live Chat session with UbiSoft Support. No ID needed, just a few simple questions.
Anyways, they were able to solve my problem quickly and easily. That online chat service is VERY useful if you're ever in a bind.
I saw it for cheap during the recent sale, so I thought hey, Ill gift him a new copy, and he can make a new Uplay account and start playing again. Wrong. There's still problems, mumbo jumbo about account activation and such. Almost 2 weeks later, we are still waiting for them to fix the problem, despite sending screenshots of my purchase history proving its a newly purchased copy. To top it off, in their last message they told him they were verifiying something and to wait for a response, and while waiting, ubi closed the ticket, because "tickets auto close after 3 days of non-activity". We are STILL trying to get him up and running.
Who was the name of your help rep, because thats who I want next time I am dealing with UbiSupport lol
The guy I chatted with was "Bob M" and was a very methodical and nice fella. Sorry about your bad experience. My issue was a rather simple one - change my use name. Yours seems a bit more complex, but still should have been delt with in a speedy manner.
