Can you reset the story with pre-existing character?

I started the game back in the last open beta, made a character and even finished the Sam Fisher mission but my mate got the game as well so now I wanna start from scratch from the very first tutorial mission, except I wanna keep my character's look. Is that possible?

You can replay any mission by selecting it in the tac map but you can't "reset all."

But this would delete the character too wouldn't it?

Yes, but it's the only to "reset" the story I guess. Not that it matters to me since I haven't exactly progressed much. Although it would be nicer to just reset everything so that only your character's looks stay when you first started

Just start a new Character and make him look the same.
