Is it true you can't play co-op in a local server?
Just read a review saying that co-op doesn't work on the local multiplayer (I assume the person meant co-op), but I was regardless able to play the open beta in local co-op over a year ago.

The connection on Per to Per, you can play co-op only while connected online. There is no Lan or local servers for multiplayer.

The game does need to be connected to Ubi servers for co-op. There's no couch co-op or LAN play.
