Tips on killing the predator

use thermal vision, either play solo with AI or full squad, call rebels for distraction, keep moving and hide behind trees, rocks etc... for weapons i used sniper & assault

Join a co-op game with 3 other people. Select the mission. As long as you're with a half-decent group of people, it's much easier with real people.
If you can hit the predator as he runs cloaked, and spot him fast enough when he uncloaks to roar at you, it helps.

The key is avoiding the plasma blasts. Expect to move immediately when you hear him uncloak and laser target someone. I stand on a rock that I can drop down from on every side. The second you are targetted, dont try to fire back... just drop off the side of the rock and go prone. The blast should hit your cover or miss. In solo, the predator will then target a squadmate; quickly find the predator and shoot him... your squad should revive. In co-op, either shoot the pred quickly when he targets someone else, or avoid the blsts. Dont be the one one needing revives. Revive others when you can but dont leave your rock for long, especially when the pred starts attacking faster. Its likely you wont have time to revive near the end.

In co-op I'm almost always the last one standing when the pred is finished off. Too many people stand in the open or try and dance around a tree. The tree is better than nothing, but I find the rock a much better tactic.

One good tactic is to use powerful firearm that can deliver most damage in single shot like HTI sniper rifle. Whether be it online coop or solo, don't bother reviving your teammates as soon as they go down because Predator has tendency to appear and shoot his OP plasma balls when reviving someone. There is a small window of opportunity to revive your teammates right after shooting Predator (to point where he leaps again). Just stay around the rock or any other cover and shoot the alien guy in the face until he coughs blood.

I used two LMGs, mk48 (200 ammo) & mk249 (150)

- red dot scope, mods for higher accuracy and better magazine capacity

Upgrade youre char and AI a little bit. Faster revive, more ammo carry ...

Fight with AI, call rebels before entering the fight zone. Shoot on the predators head

Rebels don't help, the sounds don't help, he's a bullet sponge with no end to his hp's ect ect.

I found using the grenade launcher was fairly effective ...as long as you hit him that is.

Personally, i did it in single player, because your ai team do a good job of keeping themselves revived and reviving you if necessary, meaning i never have to leave my cover to revive someone myself. Keep thermal vision on the whole time. in this environment, it is the only sure way to see the predator soon enough to react to him. and lastly, find a small group of trees or something that protects you from at least 2 sides and just wait for him to come to you, and he WILL come to you. the fight will last about 15 mins if you play it careful. The biggest thing is to make sure you're utilizing cover properly. His shots can home in on you a bit, so you want to make sure you're completely behind cover when he shoots at you. You'll know right before, cause you'll see his laser site on you.
