GPU 0% Benchmark; CPU Only?

I've read over 20 different forums on mulitple sites about this issue, and there is no answer.
When I run Wildlands, I perform the benchmark test on mltiple graphic settings and it still says its not using the GPU at all! I removed my GPU in device manager and re-installed the latest drivers. I ensures Physx is running on the GPU. I ensured the GPU is the primary processor for running the game. I ensured that the global settings and program settings had Vync off and power management was set to "Perfer maximum performance". I tried Windowed mode and various resolution settings. I ensured my power management for my laptop plugged in and on battery was at maximum performance and the low power mode was set to minimum (its plugged in fully charged at 100% anyways). I ensured that everything on my computer is defraged.
I've tried everything besides a reboot of windows, which im not willing to do.
I played Wildlands before on this computer and never had these issues before. I know it isn't a driver issue because any other game runs perfectly.

I have an Alienware 15, GTX 970m, intel I7, 16 gigs of f***ing RAM, and for some reason this game refuses to use my GPU and I am stuck with a CPU usage of 60-70% with 20-40 FPS!

I know theres people with this issue out here due to the amount of posts on forums online, but no one responded with a fix. How is all of this possible?

Does anyone have any other ideas of how I can resolve this? Please and thank you.

The game is using your integrated graphics.

Gaming laptops like yours switch between iGPU and discrete GPU.

I think your gpu does not kick in. Check in the settings in your Nvidia control panel and force the game to use the GPU.

Sadly I do not own a laptop with an Nvidia mobile driver so I won't be able to provide any screenshot on how to do it at the moment.

I was going to suggest the same thing. It sounds like it might be using your on-board graphics for some reason. You should be able to force GRW to use the 970m somewhere in the NVidia Contral Panel.
