Microtransactions are more like a 75% dicount on the buy. Gambling/loot boxes are a 100% discount.
But who knows, maybe next year they will launch something else and screw us over like Bungie did with D2.
I hope they wont make the same mistake.
Obviously you both are too stupid to read !!
ALL COSMETICS YOU MORONS !!
The Division launched with lootable cosmetic items that I have found to be better than most of the loot box items. If there is ever a Division 2 I am sure they will pull lootable cosmetic items or make them more scarce.
Not everyone is okay with that. And nobody wants to be inundated with ads for micro transactions and loot boxes when they start up a game they paid money up front for, which is often what happens with games that implement those systems. Given the current loot box climate, you would think Ubisoft would know better, but they are known to go back on their word or otherwise stretch the narrative to fit their truth. Seems like people caring about loot boxes triggers you more than the people triggered by loot boxes. Take a deep breath and relax. Calling people morons doesn't put you in the right.
You can play it with out it and finish it !
All is optional, you not been forced to buy it.
With the exception of free games, I dont support anything with lootcrates on it.
So off the wishlist it goes. :(
thanks for the heads up!
Source the quote. I can't find it. I also don't believe any Ubisoft employee would say that either.
Ever heard of the old saying "give someone an inch and they'll take a mile"? Well, that applies here. That is where it starts. With cosmetics.
Stop defending these scummy business practices.
