EMP Effects show on the vehicle, but they speed away like no care in the world. So I resolve it with VHC Damage. This ♥♥♥♥ is very infurating as being stuck on Extreme with Cheating AI as it is.

The EMP effect only seems to work when you're close to the vehicles, like below 50m. If you're too far, they just keep going.
Obvious to notice if you EMP them from afar, then intercept them with a bike or something; they immediately go engine-dead once you get close enough.

It wasnt used to be like this a few months back, this is new and complete garbage. Perhaps I want to buy myself time to snipe enemies further away, but it makes the game too easy and it shouldnt work like that?

Drone height also counts as distance. If you are 20m above, it ain't going to work. It's working for me 90% of the time.

I put them right in the middle of the delivery trucks with maximum emp, just as i did with Ghost mode. This cant be my fault at all at this rate, aint ignoring just the truth

Are they driving downhill? The emp drone just kills the engine but they stay in neutral and coast down the road and depending on the speed they are going and how steep the road its it can seem like they are still driving but if you're close enough you can hear them trying to start the ignition switch. In like 10 seconds they can start the car again.

I used to run into this back when I was grinding out Tier levels half a year ago, it was garbage, much like Wildlands. The EMP mechanic itself is really inconstant with anything moving, I would always push the drone up to the grill of the target vehicle and 8 times out of 10 it would fail to shut the vehicle down. This is NOT a new bug, it is a very old bug that was never fixed, big surprise.

Like most things in this game its buggy as feck, like others said things hit by emp's dont actually work if you aren't close enough, or you have to be scoped/looking down sites at the target emp'd for it to work past like 100m if you reload or stop aiming at target it will start to take off again and they do keep rolling if the target is on a hill or downward slope.

This is a big ♥♥♥♥ you from developers for those who want to set up a perfect ambush. And they're showing off in Premiere like they're doing some spectacular, bunch of morons are what they are.

Had the same problem. Came down to these things: The emp when fired, slowly expands out. You'll need to be 'down wind' of the convoys and right up on it for the emp to take affect. The initial emp purchase is very small in size also. Upgrade it a bit to make it easier to knock them out. But #1, its the slowly expanding ring it creates when fired.

Also: When they do get emped, they will keep their momentum if going down hill.

I USED EMP, LOOKED ON HELI IF ITS REALLY UNDER EMP EFFECT AND WAS, BUT SOME F*** S**HEAD FLYED AWAY AND I LOST FOOD RESOURCE AGAIN
