And it seems Breakpoint will do that for me - not only there are dailies and characters looks superb but also multiplayer is better since there are (probably) none of the lousy Wildland's "get into the enemy base undetected" type missions - those failed 100% of time in random multiplayer because people facetank everything.
It would've probably been better without all those half-arsed RPG elements. They don't matter much, even whole 'help Rebels' or take 'down cartel bosses and disrupt its operation' has almost zero impact to actual game world.
It's good but it's different from Wildlands. It's more like The Division 2 with better setting and non-ugly characters. But you still have recon drone + bosses to kill on the map + trash enemies don't require a whole LMG magazine worth of headshots to kill. Also Breakpoint beta was in much better state than The Division 2 beta.
It seems Ghost Recon devs are trying to get some of TD2 auditory - which is huge. People like trash loot sorting and hoarding, apparently. And I have to admit - it was exciting to see green/blue light beams indicating loot drops from enemies in Breakpoint. Those +20% xp bonuses on items are no joke.
