Breakpoint PVP, Disappointed
I understand this was just the open beta but im incredibly disappointed that they've had all this time to improve the PVP competitiveness and still have kept it the same from Wildlands. Normal matches need to be best of 5 because best of 3 is way to short especially if your team dominates both rounds. Hopefully ranked is best of 7 or more. The elimination mode is too stale, there's no incentive or reward for risk which makes for a really passive and campish style matches. They really need to come out with some objective based modes that still promotes tactic and coordinated gameplay but forces you to engage more. The typical radar system in the middle is quite lack luster and the shrinking of the map like a BR style is just a lazy and unoriginal way of going about fixing the issue. I hope they bring back the hostage game mode or some rendition of it because that added some depth to the PVP. I have to admit the many other things they worked on and improved from the last game like taking away the drone spam, taking away the preset classes and increasing the amount of customization are all things I have loved so far.

yeah i noticed that on my first try

they should create more game modes, maybe even put a battle royale in there (where stealth becomes "mandatory" while giving the players an objective to keep the game fast enough to be entertaining)

even though they were a bit forgetabble, i miss the operators from wildlands. Chosing one made the game a bit more interactive. I hate this new bs of shared progression, makes no sense to me.
Now everyone has the same weapons and gadgets which sort of simplifies gameplay too much

Maps should be smaller to prevent sniping/camping, but darker to provide more ghost cover (daylight maps dont fit the genre i think)

Thinking out loud, they could bring a Rainbow six siege-style of map: Big building with everyone inside, covering angles and staying silent
