Just got this game at the steam sale. Go to play, and during cut scenes all I have is the closed captioning. Then when the very first mission starts and you are standing there by the building and 2 vehicles. I think someone is supposed to be talking as I have closed captioning again.

Now for my set up.
Windows 7
16 gigs ram
Amd fx-8350
GTX970

I have a steam link hard wired in living room I am using.

Xbox one S controller

As for audio I am using Logitech G933 wireless headset with a wireless dingle plugged into steam link.

I have tried changing all audio output format in game from, surround, stereo, tv, and headphones. None seem to help me hear talking. It seems that I am hearing every other sound in the game though. I hope someone can help me!

I noticed as I was shutting things off, I skimmed through the Steam link audio menu. I saw that there is 5.1 surround and you can change it to 2.1 stereo. I am going to try that tonight. But this defeats the purpose of having a nice surround headset. If this works. Is there a way to change the game to get this to work? I noticed while playing that there are some voice I can hear great. Then others are just not there and I have to read the CC. I was able to hear the hostages voice in the first mission when you drop him off at the safe house with the colored checkered flag outside. But once insidea at the cut scene. It's silence. It really ruins the exoeriencephalitis having all the nice sounds of the game in surround. But can't hear a single dam word that means anything. I was also to hear my guys talking in the jeep when driving to the first mission. But again. All that talking doesn't mean anything. Just to fill the quite space while drivinf.

Just an update. I was able to figure out how to get my voices to work. I had to change the audio settings in my Steam link from 5.1 surround to the quadraphonic (4 channel). Hope this helps someone else.
