How do I fight the Predator?!?

Just purchased the game, yet to even start it. But, Im happily surprised to see all the predator dlc stuff untill I realized I have to pay real money to get most of it. I also cant find any info on how to actually fight the predator. Is it a challenge I go to on the map? Is he randomly on the map somewhere(that would be a mix of awesome and slightly story breaking lol)? Do I have to buy the dlc to play him? Wouldnht be surprised.

But man, after just hearing and reading about the dlc a little bit makes me realize how BAD we need an open jungle world game with Predator. But YOU are the Predator stalking marines & such throughout the jungle. Or even a little mixed campaign action where you play as a marine & the Predator. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ we can keep dreaming I guess lol

The Predator is a challenge that shouldn't require any DLC to do. It's in the main game world, not the DLC areas.

It's tough as fudge nuggets to do. But there's a...rock with another rock next to it...if you position yourself between the two, you can take pot shots at him, making a tough fight somewhat easy (I still failed three times with this trick, but that's nothing compared to the 20 or so times I failed with other positions).

The mission is titled "The Jungle Moved." It should appear in the mission list on your map, as well.

Call the rebels right before you enter the final yellow zone, this will give the predator more targets to shoot.

I did the Predator with a level 15 M4A1, for its high shooting frequency. Call rebel reenforcment and distraction right before triggering the Pred, and always hug a rock or tree to avoid his laser aimed attacks.
Give him some head shots, we want that tattoo!

lol I think most people aren't reading the post and getting confused by my post title thinking I want to know HOW to kill him. I was just wondering WHERE i find the mission to play him which got answered very quickly. Thanks for all the replies but I gotta avoid most of them cause they are just spoilers! I need to face him on my own, no hints or tips haha

u just shoot him and avoid fire and hope it does not crash on u. i have gotten close.. mostly the game crashes before he dies though i even get sent back in the mission and have to re aquire his location some times.

The Predator Pack and the mission are 2 different things, the mission is in the base game by default, the predator pack is just a cosmetic pack with a couple of weapons. When you atart fighting the predator i would recomend staying behind one of the two rocks in the area you fight him, i would also highly recomend using thermal vission when fighting him because sometimeshe is hidden inside bushes or right behind trees and can be hard to spot, also when you kill him then someone in your group will need to check his body while the others run away, as he will explode and kill anyone in the AOE
