Cant swap shoulder with middle mouse key

Key works fine, other actions requiring it work fine but i cant swap shoulders. Cant change the key either from what i can tell. Its not listed in key map for me. Any ideas?

Is your weapon drawn? You can’t swap with your weapon holstered for some reason, but you can when your weapon is being handled.

Have you tried turning the game off and back on again?

Restart game. Load different save. Tried it on both dlc maps. Changed different settings to try and trick it into working. Really annoying, middle mouse key us an annoying thing to use anyways. I always scroll trying to use it which would cause me to switch weapons randomly while fighting in this game, assuming i could even switch shoulders in the first place. I dont understand why I cant re map it.

Rebind those next/previous weapon switch from mouse wheel to like , and ., that's what I always do. One does not simply swap weapons efficiently via mouse wheel.

Rebind those next/previous weapon switch from mouse wheel to like , and ., that's what I always do. One does not simply swap weapons efficiently via mouse wheel.

Nah, I understood your problem very well. Other than usual, reinstall or verify game files, there's not much we can help with your problem.

i will try verifying. Ive even tried downloading an app to remap my mouse keys to where my mouse button 4 activated the middle mouse button and it still doesnt work. The game simply will not let me switch shoulders with the press of a button lol

Have you verified that your middle mouse button is actually working? Did (other) software remap your middle mouse button? Did your mouse software misidentify the game and/or load the wrong game profile? Check the button bindings in your mouse software, if none then check Windows mouse settings, perhaps try turning off clicklock or tilt.

if you have mouse 4 and mouse 5 imputs on your mouse, switch it to mouse five, its alot more reliable
