AI is bad in terms of giving commands, but when you get downed they can be very helpful. Put them on a mini gun on top of an Unidad SUV and they suck ass at aiming
I don't give the AI any commands except support teams. The AI does fine with no commands and honestly I don't think the baddies see your AI teammates b/c I've watched them walk right in front of bad guys and never get noticed. This is a good thing since you AI buddies are kind of dumb. They don't have superhuman vision though so they don't spot targets in impossible to see places like some games.
Its good in SP but really shines in MP.
as for the qq here, the ai is fine for what they are. i dont get how some people seem to have issues with them.
i have never had a problem with them but i dont expect them to carry me and i dont go rambo mode. i know that if i get swamped by enemy in cqc the party ai will not be able to stop me from getting shot
a bad worker blames his tools i guess
And I agree the game is best played as a stealth game. Drones and sync shots work fine. Also, rebel support (mortar fire and diversions) are very useful. Squad members are pretty worthless apart from sync shots or defense missions, but you can order them to stay out of the way lest they trigger an alarm, get run over by a train or car, or otherwise make a nuisance of tjhemselves.
