hi, im needing help to find where my cd key is located i need to take a screenshot for ubisoft support.
i've looked in the usual place but it's not showing up there, does anyone have an idea of where it is?

Have you looked in your Uplay library ?

Yeah the problem is that I'm locked out of my u-play account.
The password I have written down doesn't work for some reason and the email account that it's linked to is now disabled, so I can't even recover the password.
I've got a support ticket in but need to prove ownership before they can help me.
I've taken a screenshot of my steam receipt when I bought the game. I just hope that is enough for them.

A CD key is one type of proof of identity that we can use, but keep in mind that all recent Ubi titles on Steam don't require a CD key (unless you buy through a third party retailer, I'm only talking about direct Steam purchases). They automatically activate on Uplay.

i bought the game directly from steam. i still cant open it..

go to game properties then DLC you will see 2 files with check boxes so check it if its unchecked,one file indicate activation the other is about full game owned.
if there aren't any then verify game files or install the game again,if you bought it on steam then you don't need any cd key its just that dlc thingy.
