Only 43 Fps (Ultra Settings) with GTX 1080 Ti . Terrible Optimization!

I was upgraded my PC in this year and my GPU is "ASUS Rog Strix Gtx 1080 Ti O.C Edition"

I am playing this game with Ultra settings and 1440P (2K) only. And as we know; this GPU for 4K(2160p) or 3K (1620p)...

This game has really big optimization problems. I am monitoring performance with "Msi AfterBurner" This game can use my GPU's only 60% - %70. But other games can use 98% - %99

Seriously Ubisoft. You are very big company but you cant even optimze your game even for Best GPU in 2017. You are failed about optimization. Shame On You Ubisoft!

Yup same here, The only thing you can do is to either deal with it or lower settings to like high where you get 100+fps (im playing on 2560x1440)

The card is not everything. Your CPU has to be able to handle the demands of a high end card, and you need enough system ram (8gb wont cut it for ultra settings on an 1080ti).
The chipset can also act as a bottleneck, depending on what else you have installed and how, your card slot might not be used at full capacity.

Thank you for advice.Yeah, I am playing this game becouse we are in Free Weekend. But i dont think this game is not worth even with 50% sale. Ubisoft really need to learn about "Optimization"

This game has really good for loves "Single Player Games" But sadly , i will not buy this game until ubisoft optimize for "GTX 1080 Ti" Graphic Cards.

Just drop a notch a a few settings (you wont even notice it) and you will get steady 65-75 fps

1440p is not 2k btw, its WQHD

I was upgraded my PC in April Month.I have Corsair Vengeance 2 x 8 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz Rams and AMD Ryzen 1600X CPU. I dont think my CPU is Bottleneck this game becouse in 1440P or 4K, GPU is much more important than CPU.With i7700K you can see a very little difference in High Resoluitons ( 2 or 3 FPS )

I know GPU is not everything but please look at EA's games. For Example "Battlefield 1" has amazing graphics but also has awesome optimization. I can play this game 4K and Maximum graphics in high Fps. On the other side Ubisoft cant use our Computers' hardwares effectively.

I think Ubisoft need change "Optimization Programmers in Game Studios"

It's because of the CPU lower shadows from ultra to very high and lower god rays by one settings. And vegetation from ultra to very high. Enjoy the 60 fps

1080 Ti, i7 4790k, 16GGB ram. I chose the ultra preset and ran the benchmark, got between 57-68 during benchmark @1440p. Played the game for 2 minutes could not find an option to switch off the headbob so just gonna delete it.

Thank you very much for info. But i dont think this game deserving our money even with 50% sale with this terrible optimization. Ubisoft need to learm "How Optimize games" from EA , CD Project, Blizzard , Rockstar Games etc.... There is lots of Game Company has very good Optimization PC Gaming. I hope "Watch Dogs 2" has better optimization than Wildlands. Becouse i really want Watch Dogs 2.

Hmmm.... Looks like "Ryzen 1600X" Designed for "DirextX 12 Games" becouse when isee playing games with Direct x 12 i am seeing higher Fps scores. But Looks like Wildlands has not "DirectX 12 Choice" in settings menu huh ???

My CPU isn't too great, where as my GPU is solid. I had to set a FPS limit of 30-40, and then I didn't get any stuttering. Kinda sad but workable.

I find this strange considering i get 60-75 fps on ultra with an 970 OC and an i7 3770. ofc im not playing in 4k but still. There are some settings that i have off because they are completly useless like ambient occlusion, nvidia fx and texture/ shadow smoothing, seriously why are smoothing settings even a thing....
