Anyone able to run it with 4gb ram?

I know the mininum says 6gb, but I can sometimes run games with minimum of 8gb, so the minimum isn't always entirely accurate.

I have 6gb of VRAM on my video card (sad that I only have 4gb of RAM, but ddr2 is hard to find and I'm not going to upgrade the mobo just yet as my processor is still kicking butt at 3.6 q9660 competing with i5 and low gen i7s).

Like you've said so yourself, you maybe able to run it but likely with performance hits.

I imagine its a big download to try it out, so was hoping to find someone with a success story before i take a large GB plunge to guinea pig it...

i googled it for you and there was a utube benchmark of someone running Core 2 Quad Q8400 / GTX 1050 / 4GB RAM and they got around 30fps on min setting in the benchmark

but tbh man the actual gameplay and moving around the world would be really bad, like really really bad

Yes, I read that PVP and MP were impossible without MIN settings, and thats on modern gaming rigs - so I expect failure, but I'm tempted.

My GPU/CPU are probably better, so maybe it will stay above 30.

what kind of idiot would have a gpu good enough to run this game but only have 4gb of system ram? I guess the same kind of idiot who has deluded themselves into thinking their Core 2 quad is as fast as modern i5 and i7 cpus in gaming.

My guess is TC's got a 1060 6GB for the sake of getting one cuz everyone claims it to be the cost-performance sweet spot but disregarding the rest of his PC.

Eh, the upgrade paths for some people are just weird. DDR2 RAM setup in 2017? Ouch...

yeah when you wait so long to upgrade it can actually bite you in the butt. he could have sold that system when it was actually worth something and had a decent amount to go towards something more modern. even a Pentium G4560 would crap all over his old system in gaming.

and heck I cant even imagine having only 4 GB of ram for normal pc use much less gaming. even the $400 off the shelf Dell desktop I bought for my parents 4 years ago had 8 GB of ram.
