Report a translation problem
1) Go to install path: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\ GhostRecon
2) Right-click and select properties for ghost.exe
3) Go to "Compatibility" tab
4) Select the following:
- run compatibility under Windows XP SP3
- check the "Disable display scaling"
- check the "Run this prog as admin"
5) Apply settings and start the game using the executableGhost.exe
Based on the information you provided, I would go ahead and reach out to Ubisoft Support as they will be better equipped to help you resolve the issue from this point.
Uninstall and Refund
I tried all of the above and I'm still getting the "not compatible for windows, reinstall" error. Thank you though, I'll try to reach out Ubisoft Support. It seems like a lot of people are having the same issue as me. Hopefully they'll release a patch since it's affecting so many.

Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands
As I was having similar issues ( ie game not starting or crashing ) eversince Nov3, after trying alot of ideas from Forums ,non of which worked,.. Finally I decided to switch off one of my GPU's ( I'm using a GTX690 !!) and viola game works again ....... Now I'm using one GPU for main game and 2nd one for Dedicated Physics .....
