Is there a way to give up and just die?
I mean in solo mode with the AI team, when you're in one of those situations where you know that being revived is pointless and you would just rather die and get it over with and respawn, is there a way to do that rather than just waiting?

pause the game and select the option to go back to the main menu.

I hadn't thought about that, but I guess that's the only option, so thanks.

I've certainly come across some other players who have brought this up as well. Not aware of any current intentions to implement an option to choose to die in game when waiting to be revived, though it is something we can mention to the team. Thank you for sharing this suggestion by the way, lthull.

I endorse the feature.

User Story:
As a user I want the ability to instantly kill my ghost instead of waiting for the bleedout countdown to expire so I can get back into the action faster.

* User should only be able to skip the bleedout timer 3 (or fewer) times during a single engagement when playing coop to avoid XP farming exploits.
* User should be able to skip bleedout at any time during solo play. This should result in instant failure of the mission similar to how too many deaths or bleedout causes failure today.
* User should bypass bleedout by holding a key / button similar to how users interact with objects today. This key should not be the same as the 'Call for Help' button in coop bleedout.

i recently played with a far better player ( he helped me get a lsw + supressor ) and honestly , everytime i died i was just useless for him , he could revive me and if i can respawn next to him after waiting anyway , it would better if you could just die and respawn faster

I would agree its needed in solo (just due to the fact that I hate waiting for an NPC to do something), but not in Co-Op IMO. it forces the squad to play a bit of defense instead of going loud for everything in the game.

but in a 2 person squad its unlikely the other guy can always revive you , and in case you get stuck in environment it would be easier than quit and re enter

2 players are a pair. :D
I just prefer playing the gaming without the option in a co-op game. It removes the motivation to remain stealth and alive (tier mode) if a player can just respawn and rush back into the fight. That would just be easy and create a boring multiple player game. What’s the point of a drone, or jammer if you can just instant spawn.
I like the small bit of risk (of having to be healed) I find it makes the game rewarding. After a great mission, or a really crazy fire fight my team mates are laughing and having fun.

Very good point. With that in mind I need to reconsider my position on the feature in coop.

I think he means if you're in bleedout mode. :p
