AI is still outrageous
95-99% accurate at all ranges, 2-4 hit kill with any weapon at any range even with max resistance, and have comparatively huge health pools. It's never been good but with tier 1 mode on it ruins the game completely. PLEASE do something about this, we've had competent but fair AI in games for literally decades.

It's seems some people was saying the game was too easy even when set on extreme then Ubisoft gave them Tier 1. I believe these same people didn't try playing with the "No HUD" option enabled . I have disabled Tier 1 because it was killing all the fun, just like you said, god like reaction times and accuracy.
Anyway, do not expect any changes for Tier 1. I'm currently Tier 4, I'll reach Tier 1 and then disable it for good.
If you wanna try a good and fair challenge set the game to "extreme" and go for the "no hud" mode, no spots, no minimap, it's just you and your weapon.
I'd suggest you keep the communication markers on to help you navigate since there is no in-game compass.
Have fun!

game takes on a new life with no hud/,mm

Well if the AI is more like real players then people will complain because it keeps getting spotted and messing up for you.
Jonas Aug 8, 2017 @ 7:18am
I don't really think Tier 1 is so hard to play, I think it cheats a lot, like when they spot you behind cover and bots spawn right in front of you.
I was playing coop with this friend and he was a few meters in front of me, I saw him killing a narco and then two bots spawned right in front of him and killed us both. So, we just decided to disable Tier 1 and play normal "extreme".

Did you play any of the past Tom Clancy Games? Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 & 2 had harder AI than this!

I'm sorry you don't like the "simulator" feel!

My only complaint is this - if I get 1 shot, so should they! =-)

Definitely, one shot to kill them 👍

You're obviously the one with lack of ghost recon experience. Ghost Recon doesn't have enemies just spawn out of nowhere, enemies have reduced vision in low-light (the enemies in wildlands see perfectly in all conditions), and the enemies in ghost recon MOST CERTAINLY do not have 90%+ accuracy with any weapon in all circumstances. Oh yeah vegas 1 and 2 were the start of ubisoft pushing to console which is why they're soooooooo dumbed down in literally every way but visually compared to the earlier r6 games. And to say vegas 1 and/or 2 AI was harder than this is laughable because both those games were insultingly easy.

My "favorite" is how every single enemy in the game just hits you once and you're down, how they don’t even have to LOOK directly at you to get an instant kill, how they can be in a full sprint around a corner and the barrel of their gun is the thing that 'sees" you and you get one shot. This should never have been an issue, period, your AI shouldn't have wall hacking and flat out aimbot, which I swear I've seen players using aimbots that had slow reaction times then the AI in this game. Complete Joke.

They also see you through visual cover as well as hard cover, you can't see them but they see you through some of the thickest jungles of any game. There is simply no end to how they can see which should have been fixed during their own internal Alpha let alone allowing it to make it into the version that was sold to us.

There needs to be built in delays, say averages for basic human reaction time then put that as a parameter to the AI code before they can shoot you. Give them some actual vision cones so they can't see or shoot you through visual or solid cover. These are basic things that paid devs should have thought of and implemented in the very beginning.

I like the hardcore crap and all, but the accuracy, endless magazines, and xray vision kills it. They can be speeding off in a convoy at 200m and kill you. You cant wait for them to empty their mag before making your move because they never reload. Theyre able to see through bushes, which hurts stealth mode.

Yeah, I want hard game, but I want a logical one.

Ubisoft made this game. You bought it. They say that people learn on their mistakes.

Ubisoft have made many great games. Far Cry 3, Ghost Recon series, beyond good and evil, call of juarez, child of light, driver series, grow home, grow up, Rayman series, prince of persia, morrowind and let's not forgot the god of gaming: open season on the DS

An honest challenge is fine but not one that is so poorly artificial that it simply defeats the purpose of the entire game or the enjoyment.

Speaking of FC 3, the AI in that one wasn't too bad, sure at times they knew where you were but they sure didn't aimbot as much and walk over to you if ANYTHING happened around an outpost like Wildlands does.

You are correct - this is my first real GR experience - bought Future Soldier but moved to China and never got to play it.... =-P

I could see how depending on play style the AI is rather "omniscient" - one missed shot and they're all on to you! Even on Tier 1 I've managed to stay hidden while sniping - enemies have walked past me (in bushes with right camo) -- Accuracy is frustrating -- the Uzi enemies on Tier 1 are my least favorite - instadeath!

It's been quite some time since R6 -- if I'm remembering clearly, it was enemy damage that was crazy; one shot from any gun on realistic and you were down! AI was really awful -- I remembered that totally wrong!
